She also faces the long unanswered questions she has avoided since her husband’s death about whom he was with at the “business meeting” the night he was killed. She meets up with her neighbor, Grace Burton on the day she is fired and is amazed at how safe she feels around her. With Grace’s friendship and clairvoyant gifts, Susan learns the value of simple pleasures. She also meets a local handy man, who has a talent for fixing a lot more than a broken screen door. He just may be the one to mend her broken heart.

Susan’s experiences in just a few weeks make her realize the blessing in her being fired and appreciate all the amazing “coincidences” she is experiencing in the hands of Grace.

This was a warm touching story full of happiness, pain, fear, and fullfillment. Susan struggles with hardships, but comes out a stronger person in the end. The love that she shows to her son throughout this book will make any mother cry. Then we have Grace. She is such a wonderful funny woman. All through the book I was expecting them to say she was an angel sent down from God to help Susan find her inner peace because she was that great. Susan learned to connect with her son, cook wonderful food, and create her dream garden. She also found a new beginning and true love with Tom. There is a little Susan in us all. This book was well written and I would recommend it to everyone.

Six years ago they had fallen in love.  He was her first and he never forgot that - or Sasha Verochka.  When they meet again in America, the spark is rekindled but this time the odds are far greater.  Sasha was then and is now a telepath.  She can read anyone’s thoughts and is a very special person to the Soviet political powers.  She has come to America to spy on a Soviet Embassy member, but also to find her little sister, Nadia, who left Russia with someone promising her a modeling career in America.  Sasha knows this is not what happened to Nadia - she was sold into a sex ring.

Garrick Caldwell was also more than expected.  He can shift into any shape he wishes, which is why he escaped capture by the Soviets six years ago: he changed into a wolf and took off across Siberia.  It’s been a long six years, he has never forgotten his time in Russia and, when he meets Sasha again, it is as if they never parted.  He helps rescue her sister and then…..things really start happening!

The Gollidays have a winner with this novel.  The stark reality of what governments are willing to do to keep control of their “toys” is astounding.  The story line was wonderful and I think my favorite part (this isn’t a spoiler so I’m putting it in!) is when Garrick morphs into a giraffe so the girls can slide down his neck in an escape!  A nice story and the sex isn’t bad, either!

A lighthearted romantic story set in present time, The Man of Her Dreams is about Anna Hansen, a young woman who learns about herself, moves beyond low self-esteem and finds true love when she enters a relationship with a ghost—or is he?

The beginning of this tale finds Anna in an unfulfilling relationship with a rather callous fellow by the name of Bobby Johnson. Anna abruptly ends her relationship with this cad when she catches him in an act of infidelity.

Walking in the park one day, after bidding good riddance to Bobby, Anna has a chance encounter with one Andrew Thompson, who is also taking a solitary stroll. It is love at first sight. The fact Andrew appears to be a ghost confuses the situation a bit, but it does not prove to be too great an obstacle for Anna and The Man of Her Dreams.

Jaime is a university student in Boston, juggling a full class load when she picks up a part time job to help pay the rent. A job isn’t the only thing she has gained as she develops a serious romance with her more mature, and very attractive, boss Philip.
